NARI’s 2010 Achievement Awards Rules and Tips

Do you know a NARI member with admirable dedication and service to the professional remodeling industry? Has your NARI Chapter positively impacted the local area either through a community project or other event? The NARI Achievement Awards were established to honor those who really make a difference in our industry, and we want to hear from you.

The entry process is simple. Follow these simple steps to submit a nomination

Entry is to be received in our offices by December 1, 2009 to be considered.
Arrange your entry in a standard 3-ring binder; size not to exceed 11 x 12 inches
A head and shoulders photo of all individual nominees must be included in each entry.
Closely follow the criteria for each specific award and assemble your entry accordingly.

Consider a variety of materials to include in your entry to support your nominee, choosing items as appropriate for the specific award, such as:

Newspaper or magazine clippings
Photographs of events
Brochures or flyers that support the cause, event, or project
Reference letters
Listing of past achievements
Printed advertisements
Individual, chapter, or company biography
Listing of industry related engagements
Detail of background work experience
Timeline of NARI participation and leadership roles, if applicable

Winning an achievement award can generate publicity for you and your chapter. You’ll add credibility to your promotional materials, and give further reason for your community to take note of your chapter’s activities. Additionally, honors to individuals can show further accomplishment and variety on your portfolio.

There is nothing to purchase from us in advance. Just gather supporting materials and assemble the nomination in a 3-ring binder. If desired, use clear-view plastic sleeves to hold and protect your submitted information.
