2017 Region 5 South Central CotY Award Winner, Entire House $250,000 to $500,000
This whole house renovation/addition consists of a complete interior remodel to the existing kitchen, living and dining spaces, the addition of a new master suite, and a new landscaped entry concept. The existing home was dark with poorly located windows that failed to take advantage of views to the beautiful hill country landscape. The design intent was to re-sequence and re-orient the spaces to create greater harmony on the interior while promoting a more substantive connection to the landscape beyond. The aesthetic is deeply rooted in traditions native to Central Texas while remaining clean and modern.
