NARI’s Consumer Outreach Efforts

NARI works to promote not only its members but the remodeling industry as a whole. We inform consumers about home improvement activities, educate them about the remodeling process and introduce them to NARI member companies. We work with reporters, editors and producers nationwide to coordinate interviews with NARI members for news publications and radio and television features. NARI members and their projects have been featured on Home & Garden Television and CNN and in the pages of The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Consumer Reports, US News & World Report, The New York Times and Chicago Tribune, just to name a few.

In line with this effort, NARI has formed strategic alliances with Meredith Corp., with its Special Interest Publication and affiliated Better Homes & Garden’s Web site and with Home Improvement Magazine, both with the goal to increase consumer awareness of NARI and its members.

As part of its consumer outreach campaign, NARI advertising runs in Renovation Style magazine and on Meredith e-newsletters and Web sites.

Home Improvement magazine is NARI’s official Green publication. As such, it features the NARI Green logo on its cover and content from NARI in each of its regional publications.

In addition, NARI is targeting remodel-ready consumers via several Google AdWord campaigns and a Facebook ad campaign.
