From a cramped and dated space to a spacious masterpiece, this bathroom renovation used Carrera marble to its fullest potential. By expanding the floor plan, installing a barrel ceiling and designing the space symmetrically, a gorgeous aesthetic balances the modern and the antique. Against the backdrop of varied patterns of Carrera marble tiling, a his and her shower sits opposite a refinished antique vanity sink. As in a grotto, a grandiose cast iron tub under a majestic barrel ceiling sits as the focal point upon entering through French doors. A space that was once dated is now timeless.
