Residential Bath Under $30,000

National Winner
DeRhodes Construction
Charlotte, N.C.
www.derhodesconstruction.com

This master bath was part of a larger remodeling project, combining two bedrooms to make a master bedroom suite, with a full bath.

This 83-square-foot bathroom contains a soaking tub, a natural stone shower and a double-sink vanity area. Pocket doors were used to maximize space.

Mirrors reflect the through-wall faucets and glass sinks add visual interest while meeting the slim-line criteria. Overhead flood lights provide task lighting while incandescent sconces provide relaxed lighting for the bath. All bath lighting was switched to dimmers.

The soaking tub has a custom wood skirt painted to match the cabinets. The shower drain was offset to avoid standing on the drain while showering.
