Residential Bath $30,000 to $60,000

National Winner
Revolution Design and Build
Wayzata, Minn.

This bathroom was created in the corner of an unfinished lower-level storage room, styled as a “beach” retreat. The burlwood vanity and “tree” not only serves to anchor one side of the bath, but the tree also hides the incoming water lines. The vanity’s concave curve allows a vision-impaired homeowner a closer space to the mirror so she can more easily put on makeup and do her hair.

The striated, and heated, brown bench is designed to look like driftwood. The glass tile “wave,” in addition to adding drama, also hides a set of cubby shelves with baskets for storing toiletries, mouthwash and other items.

The shower contains multi-functioning shower products for a spa-like experience.
