2017 NATIONAL CotY Award Winner, Residential Bath $25,000 to $50,000
The original design of this master bathroom featured a soaking tub sunk into a large-sized platform. Unfortunately, it took up over 50 percent of the bathroom floor space, leaving little room for amenities and storage. After gutting the space, the new bath includes a walk-in shower stall without doors, a soaking tub and his and her vanities. A toilet was relocated behind a privacy wall. The free-standing soaker tub was tucked under the window. The vanities feature vessel sinks and quartz countertops. The walk-in shower touts a riverbed rock floor, a rain shower and body sprays. Modern fixtures complete the transformation.
