The homeowners wanted to remodel their visually chaotic and inefficient master bathroom into a space that embodied an exquisite spa-like environment with functional objects that resemble art-like elements. A simple and organic palette was selected without synthetic or composite materials. The straight grain white oak veneer, bronze, copper, glass, pebble stones and organic leaf interlayer glass contribute to a peaceful and calming visual composition of materials. Since the window in the space could not be moved because it was part of a symmetrical brick façade, a custom engineered movable privacy screen was placed over it.
