Originally built in 1981, this 3,600-square-foot hillside home was built on a large green belt lot. A large scale remodel and addition increased the home to 4,200 square feet. Expansive views of a preserve adjacent to the property prompted our clients to open up the rear of the home. New metal and steel windows, stucco, stone, siding and a new glass garage door ties the exterior of the home together. A steel structured Ipe deck and stairs were added, while wood soffits and a custom built Corten steel box highlight the apex of the shed roof.
