NARI remodelers are finding a good environment for their services. The combination of homeowner desire for improvements in their homes and a more stable economy is turning into solid business conditions.

Time Management – Managing the Unmanageable

In this article on “Time Management” we will be taking a different approach. If you are like me, you don’t want to hear how much each wasted minute or hour is costing you. It’s bad enough that you don’t feel like you have enough time, it’s even worse to be told that you are wasting that small allocation that you do have. So instead of dwelling on the negative side of this issue, let’s see what can be done to get rid of the feeling that you are a slave to time.

What I Learned From Staffing the National Trade Show Booth: A Chapter Exec’s Perspective

This January I had an opportunity to work the NARI National Booth at the IBS/KBIS show in Las Vegas.  I did this because I wanted to support NARI in some manner besides volunteering for a leadership position (which I have done in the past).  As I am a subcontractor, going to KBIS was on my time, not my client’s – so I really felt this was my way of supporting NARI (because quite frankly they are a great client!).
