NARI nominated in Jackson Design and Remodeling’s Industry Blogger Awards

NARI National is honored to announce two nominations in the 2013 Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) Industry Blogger Awards, in the Best Remodeling Blogger category and the Best Microblog Blogger category.

According to the JDR Website, the fourth-annual awards program recognizes exemplary blogs in the design and remodeling business, in an effort to emphasize JDR’s goal of professionalism in the remodeling industry and inspiring clients.

The nominations are timely, considering NARI National’s recent discussions around the definition of professionalism in remodeling, outlined on a previous blog post.

“NARI is committed to serving members and the industry through its various communication channels, including the NARI Blog, Facebook page, Twitter feed, videos, Webinars, podcasts or Website,” says Dan Jaggers, chairman of NARI National’s Marketing Committee. “This is a thoughtful, determined effort focused on informing members and the remodeling community as a whole of high-impact trends, happenings and news impacting their businesses.”

The JDR Industry Blogger Awards program is comprised of six blog categories: Architecture, Interior Design, Remodeling, Construction Business, Green and Microblog.

Followers of the nominated blogs and microblogs are encouraged to cast their vote on http://www.jacksondesignandremodeling.com/blogger-awards.

Voters will be allowed one vote per category, starting Feb. 25, 2013 and closing on April 12, 2013.
