On June 1, NARI National teamed with the Rebuilding Together Northwest Suburban Chicago affiliate on a garden/courtyard project located at the Clearbrook facility based in Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Clearbrook is a non-profit that provides programs and support for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The project consisted of getting rid of old planters, tidy fallen branches and overgrown weeds as well as planting around the deck and courtyard areas.

“Seeing the transformation to an inviting outdoor space was amazing,” says Mary Busey Harris, CAE, executive vice president of NARI National and member of the Rebuilding Together National Board of Directors.

As alliance partners, NARI was excited to support Rebuilding Together’s local initiatives in the community where NARI headquarters’ calls home.
