This kitchen townhouse was dysfunctional and in dire need of assistance. The middle island had a sink and dishwasher built into it and literally no counter space. The existing kitchen was closed off from the adjacent dining room and living room as well. The challenge in this project was to create an open concept space while maintaining the integrity of the structure, mechanical and electrical elements of the home. The new kitchen has extraordinary sage paint colors, white and coco stained cabinetry and exotic counter tops. A large square island rests in the middle of the space. The sink was relocated to the new half wall that divides the kitchen and dining space. The use of pendent lights, in conjunction with a pretty backsplash and porcelain tile floor complete the space.
