The existing bathroom was dysfunctional. A new floor plan eliminated a load bearing wall among the old dressing room and bathroom area. To make a seamless connection between two rooms, the air handler positioned just above this wall in the attic above was relocated and repositioned. A cinder block wall that separated the attic storage space from the bathroom was removed to create space for a sauna. A steel beam header was also inserted to create an opening for the steam room placed into this wasted area.
