Moisan Remodeling, Inc., Dallas, Texas
In this remodel, the old wet bar and the pantry were removed to place a new large T-shaped island in the center of the room. Adding a seven-foot-wide cased opening to the front dining room brought more light into the kitchen area. The fireplace brick was removed and new dry-stack stone was installed across the front of the fireplace. Special metal brackets were bolted into the walls to support the floating hearth and the floating cabinets on two of the den walls. New large tile flooring tie the areas together.
