A unique combination of colors and materials provide the desired modern look for this fireplace wall. The floating four-inch thick hearth enhances the sleek design. The new gas fireplace wall blends perfectly with the surrounding areas. The extremely heavy, full-sized Dekton slabs and four-inch thick hearth needed a solid support structure, so special metal bracing was engineered and incorporated into the framing. The Dekton material and drywall were installed with 45-degree miters at the ends to create perfect 90-degree corners on each side of the wall for a super clean and crisp look.
