2020 Prepares to Host Virtual Event Featuring Renowned Industry Experts and Guest Speakers

2020 Connect is a free virtual event hosted by 2020, the makers of interior, office, manufacturing, retail and enterprise software solutions. This one-of-a-kind virtual experience takes place from June 14-17, 2021 and is geared toward professionals within the home improvement industry looking for inspiration, expert advice, and helpful resources.

Attendees will be able to explore over 55 sessions where they will get practical advice that will help their business succeed. They can also visit virtual booths to see 2020’s end-to-end software solutions in action and get a chance to speak to their knowledgeable team directly for any questions they may have. 

The schedule

June 14 - A global contest ceremony followed by a welcome address by CEO Mark Stoever, two inspirational keynote sessions, and a happy hour.

June 15 – Guest speakers, workshops and informative product-related sessions about the world of interior design.
 
June 16 – Presentations and discussions on the future of the home improvement industry and how to elevate ones online presence with leading retailers, e-tailers, and manufacturers.
 
June 17 – Presentations focusing on cabinet, furniture and millwork manufacturers looking to grow their business through digitization, automation, and optimization. 
 

Keynote speakers

The four-day event will feature two renowned keynote speakers within the interiors industry. These include President of ThinkLab/Sandow Design Group Amanda Schneider and NKBA CEO Bill Darcy. 
Schneider and Darcy will each present industry-specific topics, including insights into the evolving interiors industry, what’s next in the kitchen and bath sector, and what they think will have the greatest impact on key market segments.

Guest speakers

In addition to the keynote speakers, there will be several guest speakers who are experts within their field and who will relay invaluable knowledge and advice about the world of home improvement.

Mark Stoever: CEO of 2020 and accomplished leader with a 25-year career leading growth businesses in the information, software, and digital industries.

Amanda Lauren: An interior design expert and Forbes contributor who has also appeared on Good Morning America and Cheddar to discuss interior design trends.

Sid Meadows: Founder and principal of Embark CCT, Sid has been a part of the global office furniture market for nearly three decades.

Jayne Barber: Founder and Director of JKMR, the only UK B2B research company to specialise solely in the fitted kitchen market.

Simon Acres: Managing Director at Simon Acres Group Ltd, recognised as the first choice KBB and merchant service provider for services to include recruitment, accredited sales training and media production.

Todd Tomalak: Principal at John Burns Real Estate Consulting where he oversees building products consulting and research, including their in-depth forecasts of building products spending in new construction and remodeling.

Erwin Matusoc: Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) and Lean-Advanced Manufacturing (Lean-AM) Champion for CME Manitoba with more than 20 years’ experience in the manufacturing engineering field.

Russ Kahn: Partner at ITe Consulting Inc. with over 25 years’ experience in furniture manufacturing operations, project management, product development, mass customization, ERP, MES and systems integration
